Habayta – back to the Galilee is a grassroots movement based and
focused on Israel’s northern frontier, with a mission to leverage the regional
crisis to reimagine the Eastern Galilee. The founding team of Habayta are
seasoned, well experienced and execution focused leaders.
We have implemented our extensive experience, in both social and
business change management, to curate our unique strategy and
operating system (see next page).
We believe that a civic movement with exceptional execution capabilities
had always been the way to reimagine reality in the history of the Jewish

Emerging from the crisis of October 7 th that has led to the evacuation of 42
of northern communities, with over 90,000 residents for over 14 months of on
going war, we stepped in to make sure this major crisis will be the regional
turning point for reshaping its future.

In only 12 months since inception, we turned vision into action and action into real impact:
- HUBayta Innovation Center – A launching pad for the recovering regional tech ecosystem, with 1,500 sqm, 13 local start-ups, creating 200 new jobs and reviving the scene.
- An agricultural boarding school at Kibutz Yireon inagurated.
- “Open Studio” – 12 art-therapy spaces set up in 12 schools, staffed by 28 therapists, 1,100+ students
- 200,000 monthly views on Instagram and 100+ media featurs amplifyng our story for us there is no other place!
- Regional Education Corporation launched – mapping over 300 educational positions and staffing over 90.
- 57 delegations hosted, bringing 300+ visitors engaged with region’s legacy.
- “Northern Emergency Operations Center” – recruiting 6,000 volunteers for recovery efforts across frontline towns.
